AMANDA MOSS - PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIRECTOR, Las Vegas

Amanda Moss has worked in state and local politics since she was 17. Prior to joining RedRock Strategies, she served as the Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association (SNHBA) from 2017 to 2024. In this role, she managed the association’s lobbying efforts at federal, state, and local levels on issues impacting the residential construction industry, serving on a number of boards at NAHB and engaged in policy with the Western Governors Association.

Prior to her tenure at SNHBA, Amanda worked with the Retail Association of Nevada as Director of Government Affairs and Public Affairs from 2013 to 2017, deeply involved in legislative policy and ballot initiatives for general business issues in both Nevada and New Mexico.

She received the Industry Member of the Year award in January 2019 and the President’s Special Award in December 2023 from the Southern Nevada Chapter of the International Code Council and was one of the founding members of the Southern Nevada Trades High School.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which she earned in May 2014, with an emphasis on Anthropology and Psychology. She also received her Associate of Arts with High Honors from the College of Southern Nevada in 2012. 

While she isn’t geeking out on public policy and advocacy, her two boys (Henry and Wyatt), baseball, dad jokes, and animal puzzles keep her busy.
