erinn mahathey - Senior Development Strategist, austin
Erinn is a political operative by trade, but a passionate changemaker at heart. She has spent her career engaging, educating, and mobilizing stakeholders in support of policy efforts in her home state of Nevada and around the country.
Erinn most recently oversaw a national public affairs, political, and legislative program for one of the most successful ballot initiatives in the country, helping give constitutional rights to crime victims. In her tenure, she successfully lobbied the South Dakota legislature to put a constitutional amendment on the primary ballot- which had only been done once before in South Dakota history. She also helped lead the subsequent campaign to victory- winning 80% of the vote in favor of the measure.
She is a Koch Network alum- and worked for Americans for Prosperity where she created and managed a robust grassroots network during the 2016 Presidential cycle.
Erinn is a proud Hawkeye and received a master’s from the University of Iowa in Strategic Communications. She also has an undergrad degree in Political Science with minors in Anthropology and Leadership & Civic Engagement from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Erinn is an unapologetic ABBA fan and still talks about the one time she won fantasy football against Dana Walch. In her spare time, you can catch Erinn reading a book and drinking an iced coffee no matter how cold it is.
